Pavlos Pavlou, PhD
Member
Dr Pavlou holds a BSc (HONS) in Engineering Studies and a PhD in Management. He is an experienced executive in the international higher education and management consulting sectors and conducted feasibility studies for schools and universities in the EMEA region.
His career spans over 26 years; more specifically:

From 1994 to 1996 he managed the Quality and Productivity Improvement Office at the University of Salford Royal Hospitals, UK.

In 1996 to 1999 he was a Lecturer in the Business School of the University of Salford, UK where he taught at the Postgraduate Management program and was responsible for establishing the Center for Research and Training for Public Organisations.

In 1999 to 2002 he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Management Consulting services, in the United Kingdom and was also President of the British Quality Institute.

In 2002 to 2005 he was appointed to develop the Internal Audit Services at KPMG Cyprus, and led projects for the design and implementation of corporate governance systems. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Association of Internal Auditors.

In 2005 to 2015 he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Business School of the University of Nicosia.

In 2008 to 2009 he headed the University’s Research Office where he also founded and led the University of Nicosia Research Foundation.

In 2009 he was appointed as the University’s Vice President for Enrollment and was a member of the University Council until 2015.

In 2015 he co-founded the Admiralty University of Nigeria in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy and acted as its President and Chief Executive Officer.

Since 2019 he is the Director for Administration of the Cyprus Systemic (Coaching) Institute and the Executive Director of the Universitas Foundation. He also leads the University of London’s Recognised Teaching Centre in Cyprus.
